Shot Types

1. List each type of shot and what purpose or function that the shot has.
Establishing Shot - To establish the setting that the scene is in.
Full Shot - To be able to see full subject/ object.
Medium Shot -To add focus points on the scene.
Medium Close Up - To add deeper focus points and to see facial expressions.
Close Up - Adds intimacy and lots of details in scenes.
Extreme Close Up - To give a scene significance.

2. What is the best way to shoot a scene, in relation to using different shot types?
The best way to capture a full scene is for it to be shot with different shot types.

3. What should you do when you plan to shoot a video? (Consider shot types, and what Robert Rodriguez said in his 10 minute film school).
Plan ahead and always have a back-up plan for weather and other unwanted events. Shoot scenes that can fit into the background ahead of everything.
